THE CONTROL ROOM | FAREWELL LOG

With the clock ticking down, down, down, a decision has been made.

HENRIETTA SAVAGE

There's an agonizing hesitation, and then the keypad blinks. The control room opens. The final hour, and they've made it with no causalities.

This will be your catchall mingle for any thread taking place in the seventh hour and beyond. When the train stops, they'll find themselves in a desolate, uninhabited stretch of unknown land. The tracks stopping not terribly far beyond them. It looks like they made it with just enough time to spare. But now, they'll have to work together to make their way home. And just where is home?

Maybe a friendly camp somewhere nearby will take you in and help you get to where you need to be, but all there is to do now is walk.

Come on, come on...

[ The sound is deafening. The train probably sways alarmingly. But in the end there's no more he can do; the controls aren't that complex. Akechi steps back.

But, eventually... the train actually does begin to slow. The swaying stops and the noise falls to a dull roar. Akechi falls against the nearest wall, sighing out. ]

... that should be it. It will take some time, but we'll come to a stop safely.

Haha, well, I'm not much of a pro. I've only been at the front of a train like this once before. But it seems to have paid off here, at the very least...
