THE PASSENGER CAR: SIXTH HOUR

Hour six has begun, and still no sign of those notes that your tape-recording friend from the past, Bianca Summers, has sworn to have left behind. With two hours left, connections have started to pop up in this ten-year-old narrative, but it's hard not to be stressed when your lives are on the line. And of course, there's those items that have been going missing. Time to really put your heads together...if you can all trust each other.

This will be your catchall mingle for any thread taking place in the Passenger Car during the sixth hour, where all your evidence has been found and it's time to put your heads together to solve this mystery once and for all! This is the only mingle based on time as well as location; no hour-based toplevel markings are necessary.

As always, feel free to contact me on plurk or discord with any questions you have!

There could have been insurance money for the building, and the art inside. If any came to her, losing a few pieces she created might not have been too much of a loss in the long run.

...That could tie to the bank, and the bank’s CEO too, actually.

I think this is another plausible theory if we assume Henrietta chose to set the fire. More than likely, this would make Perry's presence an unfortunate accident, though we can't say definitively either way just yet.

However, I think it's likely many things here tie back to the CEO, yes.

[Botan starts to say something

and then remembers that the CEO couldn't talk or hear, so she just shrugs]

... Botan, I'd be more than happy to hear you contribute. Your roleplaying is ... admirable, but perhaps a little too committed.

You mentioned before that based on the newspaper clipping, perhaps the man in the photo was falsely accused, and maybe even convicted. But if Henrietta was the one who set the fire, and they were friendly enough for him to help her put together the gallery, wouldn't she have been in the best position to speak up about it and help clear his name?

Unless you're really implying that she was the type to attempt to kill someone, accidentally kill a child, and allow someone she was close to to take the blame for it.

That... doesn't really fit with what we've learned about her so far, does it?

You have a point. I believe this was mentioned earlier, actually. The third newspaper clipping did read "silence broken," so it's possible she did indeed speak up. Perhaps it wasn't enough. Or perhaps she truly didn't try at all.

What else have we learned about her, Botan?
