THE PASSENGER CAR

All around you is the sound of squeaking, desperately pushing metal. It's like the whole world has forced itself forward, leaving you in a state of drug-induced vertigo. Before long, the seats will become familiar to you, but for now the fluorescent lights are blinding.
Welcome to the start of A Bullet in the Dark, everyone! This will be your catchall mingle for any thread taking place in the Passenger Car. Because of the short run of the game, instead of individual mingles being posted for different times or events, there will instead be mingles posted by location. Please note the ic hour in which your thread takes place in your header, and make sure you don't have your character in two places at once (once new locations become available).
For now, this mingle will serve as your intro log, but you'll likely find yourselves coming back around to it for other purposes in the future. As always, feel free to contact me on plurk or discord with any questions you have!

Looking around and taking in the sights, yeah. This teenager(?) is definitely right. He'd even upgrade it to "serious situation" minus the fairly, but they're here now and if they want to get out he has to cooperate with the stranger, Akechi.]
Greg. You remember anything before waking here?
no subject
[ He glances down at his handcuffed wrist. ]
For now, let's focus on getting these off. Once we've done that, we can begin to look around. Perhaps we'll find some answers. I don't suppose you know how to pick a lock...? [ ... it seems to be a joke. ]
no subject
No. No lock-picking experience. Pretty sure you'd need tools for that.
There's gotta be a key around here somewhere, right?
no subject
Yes, I agree. We should establish what our range of motion is, and then search everything inside of that radius. My suggestions would be to check under our own seats and to examine the chairs in front of us for anything hidden.
no subject
Fine. You want to start yanking us around or should I?
no subject
[ translation: don't you fuckin yank him he'll end your life ]
no subject
[He'll yank if he want to yank, smug little brat. Admittedly Greg does poorly under pressure and even worse when somebody is trying to direct him.
But it's way too easy for them to retaliate against each other. So for now he'll play nice. Tugging his wrist over and checking through all the compartments he can reach.]
no subject
Any luck?
no subject
Found something. Now we just need to see if it works.
[He'll put it into the keyhole and turn and: oh thank god.]
We're free to search the area.
no subject
Great work. Thank you, Greg. Ah, of course! I forgot to introduce myself in all the, ah, excitement. Goro Akechi.
no subject
He mirrors the motion. It's just nice to not be handcuffed to a stranger.]
Excitement? More like barely staved off panic.
Greg Serrano.
no subject
[ With rueful humor. Akechi will move into the aisle, mostly for the sake of being able to stand up and stretch.
Once that's done, he'll give Greg a somewhat concerned look. ]
Will you be alright? As you've so rightly pointed out, this isn't the best of situations to find oneself in...
no subject
There has to be a way of this train. If we got on, there has to be an exit. So we should look for that.
