THE DINING CAR

The moment the clock hits 6:00:00, there's the faint sound of sliding metal. Then another, louder. And another. Another. And finally, one more, and you understand why the sound was getting closer and closer. The doorway opposite to the padlocked control room has opened on its own, and even without entering what lies beyond, you can see that the other doors have opened as well, straight down to the train's end. The doors must have opened in reverse, and now, you're free to explore. Testing the handles will show that each door can be opened and closed at will from now on. Or, well, at least for now. There's no telling when anything around here will change.
This will be your catchall mingle for any thread taking place in the Dining Car. Because of the short run of the game, instead of individual mingles being posted for different times or events, each mingle is posted by location. Please note the ic hour in which your thread takes place in your header, and make sure you don't have your character in two places at once.
As always, feel free to contact me on plurk or discord with any questions you have!

hour 2
Yo. You looking around here too?
[unless you're a loser named izumi whom he came here with in which case you get this:]
Find anything yet? Looking for Neighbours is easier than this...
no subject
Of course it's easier. Their patterns aren't exactly sophisticated.
What are you doing under there?
no subject
[brandishing a note he just found! take that, loser at a door that won't open.]
no subject
but he actually sounds a little scandalized.]
Huh? What's it say?
no subject
Think we should share with the class? I wonder if it's talking about the son in my original note.

[ Attempt #2 at the galley because it's really what he's interested in. ]

Now let's see... [ Sliding into the galley which isn't the worst because he's a noodle and looking around. He'll call out to anyone that looks to be joining in on his adventure. ]
Careful with the freezer, it would be awfully easy to forget someone in there.

Do you think there's a body inside?

[ While Hazama roots through the selves, Izumi checks the stove top before opening the oven door. ]

[ He pauses in his investigation (whether its because hes found something or because hes stopped to look over at Izumi isn't clear). ]
Find anything fowl?
[ Besides his awful puns. ]

[On her mission to take a look at all of the cars, Keiko comes across Elliot near the tables as well and stows her notepad in case he needs help]
no subject
[Under the table he's checking right now, there seems to be a note!]
What the...?
[He'll hold it out for Keiko or anyone else nearby to give a look.
The writing on this note is disorganized, with no sense of care for the lines of the page. It's written fully in capital letters that rarely stay even, often becoming shorter or taller than the letters they follow.
IF YOU’D JUST LET ME GET HIM THAT PRESCRIPTION, SHE SAID. LIKE ANY SON OF MINE IS GOING ON CRAZY PILLS. FUCK THAT. FUCK THAT AND FUCK HER.]
no subject
[Making a vaguely distressed sound as she looks to the letter]
It's like whoever wrote this was a little crazy themselves.

Hour 5;

Find anything new?
[He goes to the freezer first but he also doesn't look like he wants to open it up.]
no subject
[He holds it up. The handwriting matches that of the tweaker, and says: As soon as I saw that mask I knew what was going to happen. But what am I supposed to do? If I say anything, they’ll think I’m the one who did it. I didn’t touch her! I can’t say it was him, either. He’ll kill me next, for sure..]
So this guy knew at least one killer, which is helpful. Maybe try the galley-- or I'll look there while you check the freezer?
no subject
A mask, huh? Has anybody found something like that?
[He steps away and then toward the galley, intending to look through that.]

but he's in the galley he never checked out yet, looking through everything.]
no subject
See anything? The note I found was in the oven.
no subject
I found... a key? In the freezer? Like for a music box or something. You remember seeing anything like that?
Also, this was in the cupboards.
[a note! which he brandishes.
I don’t care. I’m not sorry that she’s dead and I’m not sorry that I stole her inheritance. She tried to shoot me in front of everyone; even if what happened afterward was an accident, she pointed that gun at me and pulled the fucking trigger. I’ll see you in hell, Madame Silver.]

You think we can find something like a music box in this car? Where else have you checked?
